  • Venue Liaison (Booking and Administration)

  • Fringe Society Liaison (Show Registration & Administration)

  • Technical Support & Designing

  • Producing Support and Consultency Roles

  • Box Office Management (With venue and fringe box offices)

  • Press / PR. We have an extensive press database.

  • Project Management.

Promotional.

The Fringe is all about promotion but in a saturated festival of shows from the ordinary to the outrageous and just pure bizzare you have to stand out to your potential audience.

Dance Horizons offers designing and marketing services to support you through this momentous task. We can design and source your materials and being based in Edinburgh is a huge advantage as we can begin proceedings before the festival officially begins.

Being a producing company also opens doors for us to attend press events and launches and represent our programme to fellow industry attendees.

Jane our marketing officer is on hand to support with physical and digital promotional campaigns but companies must be prepared to be out amongst the people, flyering and talking up your show!

Finances.

There is no secret that the Fringe requires planning and a financial commitment to make your show happen. Dance Horizons does'n’t thrive on taking excessive fees from artists and have developed our own more holistic and flexible approach and agreements are reached on an individual basis.

Why do we work with Greenside Venues? The main reason is they operate a straight hire scenario, so we all know how much your venue costs will be from the word go. 100% of venue box office is then returned and there are no dodgy venue splits from the takings. Dance Horizons secures slots through our long standing agreements with Greenside and we do not inflate prices to our clients. We obviously have admin fees to be considered.

Dance Horizons will also oversee the registration of your show as part of the festivals programme. This usually costs in the region of £300. So you end up on the official website and show guide (the big books!).

We don’t cover costs up front, these are done by invoicing system.

Each agreement is different but on adverage Dance Horizons will take a minimum £500 fee or up to 25% of your box office (whichever is the highest) for our services. Administration charges not included.
